Kamran Amin joined KAUST in December 2022 and has been working within the English Language teaching profession for over 20 years. In addition to English Language teaching, he also has expertise in the field of biological sciences. Kamran is multilingual, speaking five languages fluently. This enhances his ability to connect effectively with a diverse cohort of learners. 

He has previously taught and managed a variety of language education programs within Higher Education and Further Education institutions, in both the UK and Saudi Arabia. Before joining KAUST, Kamran worked as an Academic Manager/ IELTS examiner at the British Council Saudi Arabia. In addition, he held the role of Assessment and Professional Development Coordinator at King Saud University, Saudi Arabia and also worked as an EAP Lecturer at Coventry University, UK.

Kamran is a dynamic and inspirational educator. His infectious enthusiasm inspires students to strive for brilliance and motivates them to achieve their potential.

He is passionate about food, and in his free time he loves cooking and traveling.
